    Question Edge finder

Hi Eggo here, Ihave just added some more notes so I can get in here. I am reading Model Engineers Work shop's artical on "Mach 3" Question they are talking about Edge finders are thy electronic and do they connect to the Mach 3 program. I would send the question to MEW but this is August and I'm reading Junes issue.:

    Eggo,

I don't get MEW but might answer your question anyway. Mach3 does have a input configurable for an edge finder. It is the probe input. Using a touch probe you can do edge finding and other things. There are prebuilt routines for finding the center of a hole and other probing routines. I build a touch probe just for this that you can change the tip and also use for setting your tool heights.

    Touch Probe

    Hi Arnie

Thanks for the info. Do you have the touch probe you build for sale and if so, how much?
