Haas rotary control and 5C indexer plug...how many pins?

    Hi,

I'm looking at a 5C indexer on ebay and wanted to buy a control separately. The indexer seems to have 14 pins and the controls I have seen so far have 7pins and 17 pins.

Anyone know how many variations there are or how hard they might be to find? Thanks in advance.

    Cable pinouts

The 14 and 17 pin versions are similar. You can get adapter cables to run a 17 pin rotary with a 14 pin box & vice-versa. These are brush type servo motor versions. The 7 pin models are stepper type motors & the control/motor is not compatible with any other. If you cannot locate a used control box,try calling the Haas Factory Outlet in Allendale,NJ/NY. They may be able to help.
