    TL-1 power supply problem

Haas Tl-1. I got an alarm for an X axis fault (161)when my machine rapid home for a tool change. I cleared the alarm and continued on with my program. When the machine rapid home for the next tool change I heard a loud pop, the spindle motor slowly wound down instead of breaking to a stop like normal, and it displayed an alarm for an OVERLOAD/ SHORT FAULT for the 320v power supply I believe the alarm code is 279. Also instead of an X axis fault this time there was a Z axis fault (163) along with the 279 code. Any guesses out there?

Man, I haven't been on here in awhile. I hope you got this fixed. My TL-1 also had some weird problems. It eventually popped inside the power supply. They replaced the power supply under warranty. I was also having startup problems with it blowing the breakers in my panel. After replacing the power supply, no more problems.
