When I open an art file with Corel Draw 12 and save as a *.dxf and imported to Mach3 it says that it is a Mach4 file...How can I open it with Mach3? thanks for any imput...

Are you using LazyCam to open the DXF?

Not using Lazy Cam as this feature it is only found on new Mach3 versions.

Mach itself wont process a DXF, you need to process the DXF in LazyCam or some other Cam product that will output in Gcode.

Then input the Gcode into mach3 and output to your cnc machine.

The older versions of mach3 can have a .dxf converter. You access it under File > .dxf import or something like that.

Are you saying when you try to import the .dxf file, it gives you an error? Can you post a screen shot of this error? And can you post the .dxf here?
