    Okuma OSP 2200 Control

Need to ask some questions concerning Okuma 2200 OSP control, we needing to set backlash compensation parameter. Also looking for a retired or available operator or tech. that can come on site for a few days to train on this control if possible. Thanks, Tim

There is no parameter for backlash. You need to take off encoder and adjust mounting ring.

    backlash setting on the 2200
-set the mode select to mdi
-set the display selector switch to data (buffer) position
    -key-in g77
    -press write
    -key in X 00000
    -press write
    -key in z 00000
    -press write
press cycle start to lock in the value at 00000.
check the backlash about and repeat with the value you want for backlash.
*if this is a 2 turret machine do G13 and G14 instead of g77.

    best of luck...
