My atc is about an inch out of sync with the spindle nose. When the arm rotates towards the spindle it sends up an error that the encoder is off. Does any body know where to find where in the control I can make adjustments. The machine is a 96 or 97.

Does it have version 1 or version 2 software? To adjust the encoder count position, go into toolchanger diagnostics, rotate the magazine to position 1 and engage the magazine lock. Next, look at the encoder counts on the screen. For tool pocket 1 it should read zero. If not, undo the lock screw on the front of the encoder mount and rotate the encoder body to make it read zero. Lock the screw, job done.
