    .010 jewelers slit saw

ive not used slit saws this small.
im thinking of using it on acrylic material.
    i have a .010 slot, about 3'' long by .200 deep.(4x).
    I run a VF3 with a max rpm of 7500.
i dont know how a .010 end mill would act at 7000 rpm without oversizing?
i would have to write a lap cycle with subs at about .001 depth of cut ,maybe 15. ipm. That would take a long time to finish. any suggestions?

So would a slit saw do 'er? I dont like the idea, but im willing to explore my options. What kind of speeds and feeds and depth of cut can a .010 slit saw handle in acrylic? what can i exspect performance wise?
    thanks in advance

I wheel cut eveything right to depth. One pass. I would spin up a mandrel large enough so that the cutter was well supported and left about .25 to cut with. Releave the inside of the mandrel and cap as well. So that it grips on the largest dia you can get away with.
I would spin it (hss) about 500sfm and feed it about .01 a rev. maybe a little faster
