Since I am new to CNC I would like to know if their are any trade shows in Los Angeles, CA area. I heard of one in Woodland Hills, CA (LA area). I think they called it WESTECH. Any show where I can see real CNC stuff at work is good.
Thanks,

George,
Sorry you just missed Westec it was last month.
But there is the California machine tool show in Santa clara, on Sept. 9-11 call 800-878-2983 for info or www.amtda.org look under the trade show link.
Also if you go to many of the machine tool dealers around LA they usually have machines set up to demo. I know all the HAAS factory outlets do demos. There is Haas demo days in June, check the Haas web site www.haasautomation.com to get more info. I'm sure the other machine makers have programs also.
