I am looking to buy a Tormach CNC mill. I am looking for Pros and Cons of the Tormach machine.

Pros - within it's design envelope it works very well, company support is excellent, and the company is regularly upgrading features and releasing new accessories. They have excellent pricing on 3D CAD and CAM products (with a Tormach mill) if you need either. They have really good manuals for just about all of their major tools or accessories. I tend to forget about that "feature", but it seems like at least some of the lower priced mills are lacking in that regard.

Cons - you will be doing your own maintenance and repair since there is no tech support field team, but that's not usually a problem for the hobbyist and Tormach is very good about email and phone support.

Tormach will put you in touch with a local owner, who may be willing to entertain a visit and discuss his/her experience with you.

I've got one and would buy again.

To give the pros and cons you need to say: in comparison to what?
