    Best Collets

My K.O.Lee workhead takes a CAT50 tool holder. It uses TG100 collets. Before I go and buy more collets, would anyone recommend a type and manufacturer that is better.

I need something that can hold as close to 0.0001 as possible.

What kind of chucking system do you use? There's an autochuck that uses Swiss collets that hold close to .0002 repeatedly. They typically are used on CNC round tool grinders. The collets are popped out are held in the nose piece
by a ring that allows you to twist it push out the collet and go back to grinding in less than 15 seconds. One shop I saw had it in their 10 CNCs and swore by it. They make carbide, HSS and stainless tools.

    Chucking system

I don't know what a chucking system is. I have a CAT 50 collet holder with a hex nut on it.

So you'll need more TG100 collets for the cutter diams you want to regrind.

    Try US machinetool.com
