    Two OM-s, different behaviour [UPDATED]

I have two machines both with Fanuc OM, only visual difference is that one has soft keys and another doesn't have.

    1.
On one machine if I put R after G1, it will make radius between two G1-s (two lines).
And second machine doesn't do that radius, just sharp corner between two lines.

I can't remember other differences right now, but will post it later.
    Sorry for bad english

There is a parameter setting that allows a choice between using "R" or using "I, J (K)"

I just stumbled across a thread on this today. Check this out http://www.cnczone.com/forums/archiv...p/t-23343.html
    Maybe it will help.

At my older machine, for G2 and G3 I can use both R and I,J,K, and for G1 (linear) I can use R to make radius between two G1-s.

Probably that should be some parameter....?

    NEW PROBLEM:

One machine does subtract tool length for abs/rel coordinates if G43 H_ is activated, and another does not.
Could that be changed through some parameter?

I like when coordinates are shown with tool length compensation.

    2nd PROBLEM:

When in offset screen (tool length register), one machine shows me abs coordinates and another shows relative (silly to me).

Of course I appreciate absolute coordinates, I am used on it.

    Any parameter for that?

Your second new problem is controled by Par# 0028, bit 0 (the first one on the right side)

In my yellow OM book that parameter stands for :"On the program check screen, the absolute coordinates are disllayed."

And it is set to 1.

I need to change abs/rel in offset (tool length register) display
