So check this out.
One of my axis will "randomly" go + or - when I jog regardless of if I'm jogging in the + or - direction.
For example, I'll briefly press the jog button for Z+ and the lead screw will spin in the +Z direction. I'll briefly press it again, and it will spin in the -Z direction. Press the Z+ button again and who knows....
I have a homebrew 3 axis mill with Xylotex driver and Mach 3 software on a PC. This is only a recent problem, and not a problem with the motor (i've switched cables to other motors) and not a problem with a specific axis on the driver board (i've switched pin connections in the mach 3 software).
By process of elimination, that leads me to believe it's the computer.?. Has anybody seen this before?
