    Cool Vista or XP ?

I purchased Cam Soft to retro fit a plasma table. bought a new computer to run it on but it has Vista. Should I Delete Vista and install XP for the old tried and true or keep answering the question are you sure you want to do this or did you start this program.?? I will use Alibre to draw parts and it will be loaded on this machine also.Their user manual sugested that XP did things that Vista could not.

I've never bought or tried Vista. I do know if your computer is doing something else in another program, like a virus scan, or an update download, you can crash your machine. BTDT.

I like XP service pack 1 with no virus software and autoupdates disabled. No user accounts. The machine just boots right up when you turn it on. Then runs your machine. And shuts right down when you're done. Be aware that this setup is vulnerable to internet hackers.

I don't know if this setup will work for your part drawing program.
