Need to program and post for live tool sub spindle lathe - Anyone know where to start

I am curious if anyone has experience with machine def files and such? We are unable to find any generic posts for our Hitachi live tool, Y axis, sub spindle lathe that would get us close so may need to learn more on how to set up a new machine. Anyone else running this type of machine? Do we need to call MCX? I would much prefer to do this ourselves so we gain the knowledge for changes later. That being said, I doubt we can devote a month to this...

We have experience modding existing posts to suit our machines but the Hitachi seems a little proprietary in some respects. No experience programming this machine.
