    reversing display direction

    Hi
    we have a machine running mach 3 mill it is used for checking postions on a print at the moment when you move to the right it displays a -movement in x we need it to display a + movement this will then correspond with a digital readout

    if you want that axis to go the other way,
    in config- ports and pins-motor output, change the dir lowactive ( either a x or a check)

    change direction

    I only want to change the display not the actual direction of movement

    I don't think you can change the display. Are you sure the machine is not set up backwards? When you say move to the right, how are you moving to the right, and what is moving to the right?

    direction

    by moving to the right I mean When you stand in front of the machine it moves to the right.there is a camera mounted on liner rail which is what is moving.

    movement

    Yes y movements are away from you and this is displayed as a + movement as required

    So, if your at X0 and you do a G1 X10, the screen display moves to the left?

    display

    When I do a G1 x10 the m/c will move to the left and the readout will display x10.What is required is for the readout to display x-10 when you move to the left when you do G1 x-10

    I think you're X axis is backwards. Check the reverse box in Config> home/limits.
