    solid from a wireframe

hello, i have a trapezoid shape that i sketched into mastercam and now i'd like to turn it into a solid but i can not figure out how. i tried extruding the bottom chain but instead of extruding up like 90 degrees from the origin it went 90 degrees from the angle the shape is on so its more like 32 degrees in relation to the origin. i tried to draft the faces on each side to fill it in and connect it to the other surfaces but that didnt work either. then i went all through the help documentation to no avail, as well. if anyone has any advice or instruction i would really appreciate it!
    thanks!
