I have Hitachi seiki hs500. In machine right now I can see only 3 axis (xyz) in controller. But 4th b axis module as well as motor also mounted in machine.
Can any one help me how to enable 4th axis in hitachi seiki hs500?

I have a hitachi seiki Hicell CA20. Great little machine. Tonight I had a live tool dismount from the turret whilst cutting, probably went blunt and too much side load. Anyway, now the turret live tooling coupling is misaligned. it engages / disengages fine. just not where it should be to load and unload the tools wit ATC. It's like it's jumped a tooth or 2 on the belt. I have never seen this before, so not sure where to look. Books have zero info on this. I can only assume there is a proximity switch somewhere with a dog to locate the orient for engaging. Any help appreciated.

I have just got a old Hitachi VM40 with siecos mark II controller. When i power up the machine, i got alarm "battery alarm ---- please change", i change the battery when machine power up, but i can reset this alarm. Can someone help me???

Is it exactly the same type battery that you changed?

My name is Michal I'm from Poland.
I have a Hitachi Seiki HT20R. The problem is with the main motor yaskawa drive. There are no errors after the machine is started and referenced. When I try to set RPM in YOG mode, the load meter goes to 110% on the Yaskawa panel, the RUN indicator lights up but the engine is stopped. Can you somehow help ??

ok so i got the alarm to go away but now the tool numbers are off... if i call up tool 5, it gives me tool 8... how do i fix that?

I have a Hitachi Lathe HT 20RIII with a Seicos Multi control throwing a flash Error intermittently upon start up. Seems to be getting worse every day. I can usually reboot it a few time and it will start. Any suggestions I cant find anyone that seems to know these machines anymore.
