    Angry MIGHTY CNC LATHE

    Anyone have experience with Mighty or their CNC lathes? In particular a VT-23 with subspindle and 21i Fanuc control. We've had the lathe for 3 years and have serious noise coming from the spindle bearings. We were going to replace the spindle to avoid the downtime of repair and contacted our dealer for the order. From there on in it was a nightmare. They couldn't hardly find which spindle it was, then tried selling us a cartridge WITHOUT bearings for 9K! Enough ranting. Has anyone tried to rebuild their own spindle? Or should we just let the pro's handle it?

    rebuild spindle bearing on a CNC machine is not like anybody can do it, I suggest you should let the spindle rebuild shop take care that for you, by the way where are you locate?
