    Carbide Endmill griding service?

Ive got several 3/4" Kennametal slightly used solid carbide endmills that id like to get re-ground and re-sell. What companys have yall used? Also, if the flute has some wear, does that automatically mean it cant keep its .750 cut? Still trying to learn more about grinding and such. Also, what are the best sites to sell tooling on? Ive gotten into the business on the side to help pay for the ole race car. Ebay seems flooded with people looking to just buy cheap junk. Have some 1" carbide endmills as well that need a touch up. Id say they are all about a 8 out of 10 being new.
Anyone sold to www.ibuytooling.com in Arkansas?

Depending on where you're located there is probably a local grinder in your area. If you really want to, you can send them to Kennametal for regrind.

It will be up to you how you want them reground, but if there is wear on the flutes you will want to grind them down to a smaller OD. Sometimes I've buggered up the ends only and just had them cut off and touched up.

Agree..find a tool grinding shop and see for yourself if it's worth it.
Yes, mostly the front is chipped and worn, so they get cut off and re-done front only...we do this service.
If side need to be touched up, surely size will be smaller.
When coated, a sharpening only without coating the endmill will not stand up the same, I find these endmills only use for mild steel.
I one's have quoted at Kennametal for a total grind and coating, it turned out they where extremely high and not worth it,...better buy new.

Can TiN endmills be re-coated to TiAlN or TiCN?
