    Bridgeport DX-32 (Explorer I) / Conversion

Hello, my name is Alejandro I'm new in the group. I need retorfit an Bridgeport Explorer I.

    The servomotors are: SEM MT30M4-28, 4000RPM, 26lb/in, 112V 65A,
they work with analog servo-amplifier at 100VDC of DC BUS.

    I have two way:

1- adapt analog amplifier to digital interface STEP/DIR with Skyko. (the problem is skyko are discontinued product and I don't know/find similar product).

    or

2- put new drives (the problem is the voltage of opeartion 100VDC, all of drives work maximum 80VDC).

    Please send me yours commentaries...
    Thanks in advanced, regards

    Alejandro Gonzalez

The Viper 200 drive will drive those motors fine. Others have done the retrofit on the same machine.
