    Milling Deep, Thin Slots

I am trying to mill a slot into 410 stainless. The depth of the slot is ½ inch deep. The overall depth is 3.400 deep. Slot width is .293 wide. This slot does not go through the part. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations on how to do this?

    Thanks!

.293"... is fairly wide, staggered tooth milling cutters are used for something like this.
