I have an old Deckel SO type single lip cutter grinder. I use it all the time making single lip, cutters, tapered cutters and even solid carbide drills. I have seen accessories for sharpening twist drills before, but I was wondering if it can be used to sharpen endmills and reamers.

Also, is there a good source for diamond grinding wheels for the Deckel SO?

Jim, my company actually sells these models on a regular basis. They are common place for in Carbide Header Die Tool Rooms for Sharpening Spade Drills. My company actually stocks Diamond Grinding wheels for this machine. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

You can find replacement diamond grinding wheels and cups at most machinist supply houses like MSC Industrial Supply or Rex Supply also. I use a different brand machine, but I've found that I can get wheel much less expensively at the supply houses versus the distributor of the machine parts.
