I dont' see it here

Do you know the minimum step and direction timing requirements of the board?
John
did not get to download the pdf (it wanted me to register for email) but if you look through the chip specifications from here, it should provide the timing requirements John asked about.

Shouldn't be any reason EMC can't run it.
This is the site of the manufacturer http://www.easy-cnc.com/
This is the unit that was purchased spec sheet

This is what we put together for making one-off engravings for labels on control panels. We recently used EMC2 on a project and we thought we would put this together for our own use.
I didn't see any info on timing, you might contact the manufacturer.

No, that has nothing to do with the timing requirements of the drive. The drive will need the step to be on for a minimum length of time and off for a minimum length of time so it will not miss a step. The same is true of the direction change bit. Easy thing to do is put a large number in there and if it doesn't go too slow your ok. With a 24 volt power supply you are not going to go very fast anyway. To start try 25000 for each one and see how it works.
Or contact the manufacturer and request the timing requirements I've only seen one that couldn't figure out what his board needed...

Can you read the name and model number of the driver chip? Allegro or something else? Looking at the site - you will have to pull it out of its holder under the heatsink.
Once you have that, you should be able to download the datasheet from the chip manufacturer which will have the timing data.
If you go that route make sure you add enough time on the chip specs for opto's etc that might be on the board and could change the overall time requirements.
