For the record the Dodge 3.7,4.7,5.7 have the same block to trans bolt pattern as the LA engines with the exception of the top center hole missing on the newer engines. They also have a small sheet metal spacer inbetween the block and the trans that may need to be accounted for.

Re: CAD drawings of most popular V8 engine bellhousing patterns

    Good day people,

has anyone a bell housing bolt pattern diagram or drawing of the Volvo 4 cylinder Redblock engine and a drawing of the european Ford bell housing of the old V4 / V6 engine, I think it should be similar to the Explorer 4.0 litre engine?

    Thank you,

    Udo

Just to restate I have a collection of different engine drawings, and would like to add to it. So far I have a number of American domestic engines along with a few German designs.

    Hi
I have looked over this thread and do not see the bell housing ford used on there diesel engines. Would anyone have a dimensioned drawing of the early 6.9, 7.3 idi bell housing or the 7.3 powerstroke bell housing drawing. Model years can range from 1986 to 2003

    Re: Yanmar L100 drawings

I have looked through all the ford shop manuals I have and none of them have the bell housing blueprint I need. What type of manual contains the blueprints for the bell pattern?
I plan to use a 6.9 for a saw mill. I have a pto unit and I hope to make an adapter to join the two.
    any help is much appreciated

freefuel DDA Bellhousing's are part of the engine IE They seal up the back of the crankcase the back or trans end is SAE 0-4 depending on size and aplacation you can search and find the specs for them Dyna490k IH Combines had a bellhousing with a output shaft you might be able to use I don't know if they ever used a gas MV 404 or 446 that have the same bellhousing as a 6.9/7.3 good luck Kevin

Re: CAD drawings of most popular V8 engine bellhousing patterns

where to find drawings of the BMW R series boxer motorcycle engine? I'm trying to avoid the typical "just go measure one" approach as I'm more interested in a rideable completed project and not a pile of useless junk.

if need be where should this question be moved?

Re: CAD drawings of most popular V8 engine bellhousing patterns

    Hi
Im looking for the bellhousing bolt pattern for the Chrysler 3.5 V6 used in the LHS, Concord or Intrepid around 2000. I actually need the 42LE trans bolt pattern but it should be a mirror image of the engine. If anyone has this info could you please post or email it to me or point me to where I could get the info, it would be greatly appreciated. I would like to make an adapter to a SBF and have the bolt pattern for the SBF.

I also have some nice drawings of 4 and 5 cylinder Volkswagen TDI Diesels.

PM me your email address and I'll send them to anyone who wants them, I'm not interested it setting up a photo hosting account.

Lastly I'm searching for a BOP Buick/Olds/Pontiac/Cadillac bellhousing bolt pattern drawing.

P.S. I have a spread sheet listing a pattern for the Mercedes OM617 5 cylinder Diesel
