vytek rebel cnc router problems with NEE amc3 servo controller config!!!

Does anyone have the vytek rebel config for the amc setup program that came with the amc3 controller? I am trying to set this vytek rebel router up that I just purchased and cant seem to get the controller configured properly. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated from anyone who knows anything about the vytek rebel or the amc3 controller. Thanks Again!!!

It's not new but I have the controller working with the vytek router now but I cant get the serial connection from the pc to the controller setup correctly now. I am trying to get the amc setup and winamc software to communicate with the amc3 controller. I was also wondering if there was a way to run mach3 on the pc and transfer the g codes and jobs to the amc3 if anyone knows. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Again.

i spent a few minutes reading thier page and it looks like a closed system to me, in other words you would have to disconnect the controller and take mach directly to the drives, there is a fellow named cnchelper here on the forum who may know more about this, other wise it liiks like a decent industrial controller, call the manufacturer and get the manual if you do not have one.

also you stated your machine is servo,

the amc3 is a stepper controller

vytec is a listed advertiser on woodweb, i am sure they will answer the phone today

Re: vytek rebel cnc router problems with NEE amc3 servo controller config!!!

Hello everyone... I realize this thread is very old, but this is the only thing i have found on the entire www that is close to solving my problem. I have a 2004 Onsrud Panel Pro 5x16 with the AMC pendant and the NEE controller. I do not have the original computer that was connected to the machine, so i too need to set up a terminal and figure out how to talk to this ancient machine. Anyone with any clues as to where to find the correct terminal software and how to config the serial connection, baud rate, data bits, stop bits, and Parity: Flow Control, etc. I can’t find a copy of WinAMC anywhere. I was able to find a terminal called CoolTerm, but I still can’t figure out what all the config settings need to be to make it work. I may just need to know the serial connection settings; Baud, parity, etc, but I also need the Post Processor for the CAM software to generate the GCode specific for the machine configuration. Can someone please help?
