Does anyone know of a way to download a standard G-Code file to a Lockformer plasma? I have heard that there is a third party software package available to do this but can not seem to find it. Any help would be appreciated.

What is the controller that is on it??

What I know is that it is a Vulcan 200B machine and I believe the control is a lockformer control.

I do know i can make this work with a program called Predator software. Where are you located If you are close i could stop in and see if i can get it communicating. Private message me and we will talk.

I would like to discuss this further with you. Is there anyway I can call you? I would have you call me but I would rather it be on my dime. I live in Alabama. I am already creating G-Code I just don't know how to get it in to the control. It appears that it is a proprietary control and does not let you do that. Is this true?

did you get this solved? I have a used lockformer plasma with a vulcan controller on it and am not real happy about the $5600 vulcan wants for their software.

I have been succesful with a couple of lockformer machines. It depends on the control and software version

The controller is actually "Lockformer Vulcan". Mine is Model AMC4/5395

It depends on the control. They have a add on that you can purchase that allows you to import G-Code

The controler is a creonics allen bradley 128k/cxnc/lf and i dont have any software with the machine but can deal with working with g codes

I am wondering if you were able to extract G-Code from the machine?

I have an issue with mine where hardware seems to be ok but I got it without OS lincense. I found someone who would be able to help out but they need sample code, ideally having as many commands as possible that describe operations.

Would be gratefull for any help with this matter.
