    A Big Thumbs up for Rasterfratz

    I have been using Rasterfratz with great results for converting BMP images to DXF or straight to G code..........anyone looking for a converter this is it very easy to use and only $75...... :cheers:

    It is hard to beat that price, of course. Does Rasterfratz take into account the 3D shape of the cutting bit and calculate all the 3D tool offsets when outputting G-Code ? For example, the optimal tool motions would be different for a ball-nose vs. a V-point cutter.

    try the free demo......I don't think it does 3D but they have one called vcarvz that does....check out www.imsrv.com
    I am in no way affiliated with them but just use their software
