Question tip not at the centre

    Hi, there,

I got a Renishaw TP2 5W probe from eBay. However, I found the styler tip is not at the centre. I mount it on my milling machine and rotate the spindle. The runout is about 1mm peak to peak. I wonder if this is normal or something has been damaged?

    Many thnaks
