    which breakout board

Hello, I am replacing most of a controller. I am keeping the input transformer and the motors and drives. The 3 axis motors are 7a and 1.4vdc steppers nema 34. The drives are 6410 pac electric microsteppers with a maximum output of 5a, 24 thru 74 vdc input. I will be using a vfd with on off and variable speed, there will be 6 input and 12 output. Mach 2 or 3 software.

I have looked at pmdx 122, Cnc4pc c11 and CandCnc the ubob pak1.
Both Arturo from Cnc4pc and Tom from CandCnc are excellent to work with and would be good resources during the retrofit, I did not talk to anybody from PMDX.

What product would you pick and have you had any good experiences with these or any other controller retro products.

    Thanks,

    Joe Ddog

    new bob

    Hello,

I went with Cnc4pc for the bob the C23. Arturo Duncan the owner is patient, helpful and knowledgeable, did I mention patient. A very important quality for someone who is supplying support to someone trying to retrofit cnc electronics.

The owner of PMDX also was very helpful, I used his psu. His support was prompt, polite and professional.

The other company mentioned is more for the builder who already knows cnc and does not need support. I did try their product but after attempting to get support (they acted annoyed at my request for support and did not respond till my 5th e-mail), they suggested that I should return it for a refund, which I did and they sent a full refund with no problem.

    Good Luck,

    Ddog
