Please have a look at the following H bridge servo driver to perform a particular function. Input is only from the left side of the bridge and the op amp runs the right side with an opposite signal. The function of the motor is to provide resistance to movement but not stopping the movement completely.
At the center , the position potmeter wiper is at half the suppy voltage. As soon as the pot is moved, the position signal differs from the reference voltage. This difference is amplified and drives the DC motor in the opposite direction. The amount of motor drive determines the opposing force. By increasing the amplier gain, the motor drive will increase for the same force deviation.
As well as the input from the pot, a similar signal is also fed in from another source.
I plan to connect this driver to the PC via ethernet to provide further signals to the driver.
I am hoping that valuable members can have a look at this circuit and suggest a better way of doing what I am trying to achieve here!!!!!
Cheers all
