Advice required for my next milling machine.

    Hi all,
after have successfully used the proxxon bfx40 setup for a while, I have understood that ( to speed-up jobs ) I need a bigger setup.
Actually I have seen a couple of machines that seems to be right, but I need your advices on which would be better, just to avoid a bad choice.
    The two products are :

    and

    http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=44991
( but the european version, that is metric units ).

For the first one there is no Z microfeeder, but on the main site there is a project for adding such feature, and is priceless. The motor power is 500W
For the 2nd one , there is the microfeeder, but it cost almost two time then the first one, and the motor is 350W.
Anyone has never tried the first one ( I know a lot of you has the second ) and have comments ?

What do you think will be the best choice ?

    T.I.A.

If you can read German, here is a conversion of HBM 16 going on:

If you don't understand German, the pictures are the universal language.

Nice shots there, ESjaavik, but I can't read german so I can't understand if the machine is good or not.
I don't think I will CNC it, for the moment, only speed up some of my jobs ( more power than my actually setup ) so I was asking for info on precision and backlash and all of those things.

    Thanks anyway
