    Servo Drive Selection

I am looking at getting a servo drive for a bridgeport knockoff milling machine. The drives I am looking at are Allen Bradley Ultra 3000 2098-DSD-020-ES but I am not sure if they could you used with mach3 or not. If anyone could be of assistance that would be great.

    Thanks

    Tom

Yes you can use them with Mach, I use them on my lathe and mill. On the lathe I have 030 drives and the mill 020. You may find you also need the active shunts if you are wanting decent accelerations, the 030 drives have the shunt circuitry built in but the 020 down dont.
