    This was on irc

    SWPadnos- the if condition sets _yPos to _ySize
    SWPadnos- but the while loop will repeat as long as _yPos is less than *or equal* to _ySize
    SWPadnos- so it loops forever
    SWPadnos- the while should be changed to LT instead of LE

    ok i see that now sam. if i use lt the program dosen't do what i want it to. i found a way to get the job done. just not too happy with it.
    i looked at that silly thing for several hours and didn't catch the trap.

    here is the first cut of the surfacing code that actually seems to work.

    set the parameters in the top of the program. zero the z axis to the top of the fixture/(bottom of the stock). run the z axis to the high place in the stock. then position the x y to the south west corner of the area to surface.

    no bells no whistles but a place to work from. play with it and let me know what you think.
