    Fanuc O-M lost parameters

Battery Backup went dead on machine while sitting. Had all kinds of errors of course when I replaced battery. Got parameters put back in but still have one error code 414 x axis. Does anyone know what line controls this or do I have to look through all the parameter #'s again?

    Thanks

You should doubdle check your parameter start from #8100

I am sorry do not know how to explain Timer & Keep relay
When Battery Backup went dead, machine not just lost all parameter, also all your program, timer and keep relay gone too, you may need to contact machine builder to get a copy of the timer and keep relay for your machine
    Who is the manufacturer??

You want to choose the DEL, it is going to delete the program only but you don't have any program anyway

Holding P and Cancel Key while power up control only when the servo can't find it home position then you do that

"Y Axis shake very bad when you do Zero return and also error 414"
You shoud double check parameter start from #8200
Do you have the origenal parameter from this machine??

What do you mean by it didn't work?? are you talking about Zero return doesn't work or servo alarm 414 come up when you try to move the Y Axis?

The "P and Q" key they are locate on the Keypad, normaly is right side of the CRT, you have to press and hold down P, Q and CAN key while power up machine, and wait untill control go to ready position before release P,Q, CAN

I think you still missing a parameter some where, I am sorry I do not know which one to change to fix the problem, you should double check again all the parameter and specialy the #900 to 930

there are settings to turn on RS232 inputs. turn the handle to MDI i believe, look in settings screen, page down for "input mode" change 0 to 1 or vise versa..

Need to check your baud rate, Parameter 0552 and 0553
If your PC set 4800 then change parameter 0552 & 0553 to 10
If 9600 then parameter set at 11
