Nice!!! I'm sure we will all be needing one of these some day DouglasR .
Lately I've been playing with my new toy, a 2011 2500HD. She's 8 months old now but still smells new like the first day we bought her.
My wife named her T-Rex.

Have fun with your toys. I'll be towing a 10,300 LB 37 foot Camper Trailer upstate NY this summer.

Where have you been hiding these past few months?
My latest toy isn't quite a T-rex but it is lots of fun. We bought a cabin up in the mountains and my son-in-law and I bought snowmobiles to go even further up in the mountains. The cabin is circled in the second picture.
And I didn't respond earlier because I was in a cruise ship off the Kamchatka Peninsula on a cruise from Kobe to Vancouver.

After a hiatus of almost two years I decided to revive this thread and ask where is everybody who contributed to it? I have been up to my normal non-cnc activities; working around the house and yard and traveling. The upcoming travel starts in a couple of days and takes in Bar Harbour, Sydney, Halifax, Quebec City, Cornerbrook, L'anse Aux Meadows, Cork, Dublin, Falmouth and Dover.

This thread seems to have been moved to the wrong forum. If you could please tell me which forum it was posted in I'll move it back.

CNC-ing an SX3 to make a full-size CNC router to make some speakers. Why do it simple?
I moved it back.
We cruised to the Bahamas out of NY in November, and in a few weeks we're off to Vancouver to visit the in-laws.

Thanks Gerry, I was out of easy contact.
Is it Vancouver BC or WA you are visiting?

I guess I am dragging this thread out of the deep past, and I have no idea if any of the users who posted to it are still active on this forum.
But this seemed as good a way as any to drop a note to any who might care to know that my dad, Geof, passed away last year.
I'm happy to have found these threads where he actually documented so many of his anecdotes and machining know-how and photos of his crazy antics.
Happy machining to all of you.
