    Tension & Compression tapping

I have been using some old Kennametal, straight shank tapping holders. The shank is 20mm in diameter and the overall length is around 185mm long.

I think the collets we use are the DA200 (J) type collets with the cut out in the bottom and square end. Can anyone confirm this collet as shown in the photo.

Also does anyone know of a similar or the same tension and compression tapping holder that I can still purchase in the uk and collets to suit. Most of the tapping is for M3, M4, M5 and M6 ISO.

I have sort of hit a brick wall with trying to locate information on these holders and collets and appreciate any help and info you can give me on them.

:cheers:We have used them, they are a Kennametal / Erickson holder with 3/4" or 1" shaft and a DA (J) collet system and are interchangable
