Have been having alarm 166 (Y return margin too small) error upon zeroing all axis on startup. I have replaced the mechanical Y axis limit switch to no avail. I checked the switch connections for tightness as well as the servo-motor connectors. I have had this problem before and cleaned the limit switch and it solved the problem but not this time. I also checked the arm that contacts the switch to trigger it and it appeared tight and not bent or damaged. Waiting on my HFO to respond but I though I throw this out on the forum to see if anyone has encountered this problem and found the solution. Thanks in advance.

If you have replaced the switch then the grid offset should be reset. The value is in encoder counts and should be between 1/8 to 7/8 of a revolution.

Thanks for the quick response! I do not know anything about the grid offset or how to set this. I suppose this is done through parameters and settings. Would you be so kind as to elaborate on how I do this.
