    solidworks/ Mastercam witch one !!!!

    Hello i have the choice of purchasing mastercam or solidworks witch one would you recomend or are they both the same type of software can i design on them !!!! and do they both do the same thing i would like to get into 3d milling and it needs to be simple to understand.

    You can design with both, but you can't machine with Solidworks. You need Mastercam to machine with.

    If you're going to do only design, then Solidworks. If you're going to do any machining, you'll need Mastercam. Mastercam's design capabilities are very strong. I haven't seen anything I couldn't design with it, and I do some complicated stuff.

    hey great mastercam it is ,now i need to find controler software can you name a few that are at good price
