    HELP! DeskCNC X-axis doesn't respond.

I am setting up a Sherline CNC lathe from IMService with DeskCNC controller. The z-axis is working perfectly, but the x-axis does not respond at all. When I checked the voltage on the controller, there is no voltage between Xstep or Xdir to ground. I temporarily connected the Y axis and it worked perfectly too. The voltage on the Z and Y axis pins on the controller are the same, but I don't recall what it is. I don't know if it matters, but when I connect the controller to the servo driver, xstp stays at 5v and doesn't change ever. Any help is more than appreciated. I find is hard to believe the board is bad.

Post to the IMService private user support forum. We can help you troubleshoot setup problems at that location.
