    Plot Enhancements

    Hi Scott,
I know you've been busy but....
Have you got anywhere with any plans ref plotting enhancements discussed ages ago?
Specifically some selectable display buttons so NCPlot runs through code as a cnc does ie
If the M01 button is clicked, NCPlot stops at every M01 in the program.
If / (block delete) is on, NCPlot ignores that part of the program.
Similarly if there is a M00, again NCPlot stops.

Lastly, we discussed the displaying of H +D offset values together with its related tool. So we know when backplotting that the correct tool offsetts are called.
If I remember correctly, you said that it would be difficult to do because a look-up table would be involved???
Well, as a thought, now you have the Tool List display, could you not do something with this?
Under the Tool List is a lot of empty space (for the depth of the monitor) depending upon how many tools are used in the program.
So, could you use some of the space to have the Tool List displayed as

    Tool 1
    H1 D1

    Tool 2
    H2 D2

    Tool 3
H3 D (Blank as offset not called in the prog)

    etc

    Keep up the great work!
    Cheers,
    Terry

    Terry,

I don't want you to think I forgot! But you're right, the addition of a tool table should allow some of these features to be added (at least theoretically). We'll re-visit this once the 3d simulation update gets released.

    Thanks,
    Scott

    Good man Scott.
Obviously the checking of H +D's is a very important thing, and I think if it was displayed on the tool list, it would be a very quick (almost instant) and safe way of checking the program.

Has anyone else got any thoughts? Fore / against?
Also, anyone else got thoughts ref the other points like the M01 select box for back plotting?

    Cheers

Quality takes time. Scott will let us know when it is out. You know the first release will be Beta, right??
