Hello to everybody!!
I’m a new user of emc2 and I hope somebody can help me with the configuration of fourth axis.
Infact I build mine new small machine with the 3 canonical axis X,Y,Z and now I wold like do an upgrade to move Z axis with rotation of 360 degree.
Pratically I wold like use a whell in diamant for engrave flat marble and with it following the engrave with lines and arcs.
Using the emc2’s wizard (Ver2.0.8) I configurate the fourth axis (A)and in jog mode I can move it perfectly about rotation in clockwise and CCW directions.
Mine question is:
After build mine draw in dxf with Autocad for example, wich CAM I must use for save mine file with the right code for the fourth axis?
Or is necessary some differents configurations?


Please if somebody can Help me I will appreciate a Lot!!

You may want to try a formula in Excel to transform your X or Y into an angle...
