Markjb I have the same lathe and still have the issue, I cant seem to reset the alarm, any suggestions? or can you help me get a step by step guide. Thank you

See the post that matches the following quote. It has a procedure for each alarm... approximately 8 posts back...

Take a look at the Troubleshooting section for each alarm, attached.

Check out the action on the proximity switch for the DOG.

Is the DOG rod "sluggish"? (it might need disassembly and cleaning or replace)
Is the proximity switch dirty or out of alignment?

Read the attached sections and check any other items mentioned, also.

Anyone have the process to reset the 2047 Alarm. Need the Pro-Motion Servo step by step re-set. K5.4 is set to 0 but turret will not rotate by hand or by control button. Battery was dead, replaced it and 2047 continues. ALP-En on servo control readout.

K5.4 set to 0 turns OFF the manual override.
To manually actuate turret unclamp...set K5.4 to 1 ( it should then turn by hand)

Can someone please tell me if I'm having a backlash issue. Put new servo motor on for the turret. T1 - T4 change no problem but gets a timeout alarm when changing tool's across from t1. T5,t6,t7 t8. Is this 48-51 parameters for servo.

This helped some but still have the error periodically. Swapped battery in servo. Not sure how to reset parameter #8 on promo unit. Any help? Could this be my problem? However, the alarm won't go away and I can't get it to rotate using the turret switch on the control. Where would I find the DOG and turret sensor on my machine? also check virtual credit card for netflix
