Hi,
I'm Ezequiel from Buenos Aires Argentina, I'm 21 years old and working in a Yacht Design Studio. Apart from other stuff, we started to offer the option of making scale models of the yachts for boat hows, or just personal use. In orther to simplify the work, and reduce the time of manual working, we considered buying a CNC machine. I've look around several web sites, like Vortech, Ez Router, K2cnc, and shopsabre, and I also saw many reviews of the different machines, but I juast can't make up my mind, of which is the best choice.
What I really know, is that a table with 900mmx600mm of working area is perfect for me. The most important thing is the working Z axis, which it should be between 8" and 10" from top to bottom. Basically the job is made in wood, and maybe PVC foam sometimes. I have never worked with a cnc machine before, but I've made use o 3D cam softwares, well I work with them all day long. Also, I want to keep the budget as low as possible, but without excluding quality.
Thanks in advance for any advice you guys can give. I've been reading the forums, and there's a lot of great information.
