Go kill the engineer! Is this in a circle or a straight line? How far apart? Cnc or
manual?
Aaaa yes....here is the simplest answer. .000 position allows for the possiblity of bonus i.e no bonus no positional allowance occurs if you make the holes their smallest diameter. Bonus and positional allowance occurs if you make them at to their largest diameter. i.e the diameter is .800 +- .005. At .795 you have no allowance or bonus tolerance. At .805 you have +- .005 or about true position of around .0027 ( an est. I didn't figure it out) Also... there is tol. to the location of the BH center location you can add to that.
Steve.
Thanks for your help
I'm sending part of blue print let me know if we can apply same criteria to make those parts
Thanks Again
we will use a cncn fadal 4020 10000 rpm 20hp
listen to scadvice.
you have .000 at .266 diameter.
you have .03 at .296 diameter.
good luck
billy
Thanks billy....Yes...the same applies. I do want to make one correction though to my original example. I said "or about true position of around .0027 " . That was incorrect. It should have been around .0073 true position. I estimated the wrong way. I was in a hurry to leave and go visit some friends.
Steve
Thanks a lot for your help.
I apreciate your support

Just hold it close as you can. If you don't have reamers, drill about one size under then follow with the correct size. Walah size is dead on!
