    Panasonic Panaterm Driver Software

I have just bought a couple of panasonic drives and motors, I think I will prob need to configure the drives to accept the right signals from Mach. For this I need Panaterm to configure the drives, does anyone have a copy they could email me?

    Cheers

Panasonic UK were helpful in emailing me the Software if anyone else is looking for Panaterm I can forward a copy to you.

Im about to power up the drives for the first time. Looking at the circuit, I need a,

    1. Fuse breaker
    2. Noise Filter
    3. Magnetic contacter
    4. AC reactor

All before I can feed my AC mains supply into the drives.

I have the noise filter, but no fuse breaker, AC reactor or Magnetic Contacter. Is it advisable to test run the drives without the other three components, will the fuse in the plug compensate for the lack of a breaker?

    Panaterm Software

    Hi

I found this site that allows download of the software, tested and working on Vista with xp compatibility mode and installed / run with UAC turned off, RS232 via USB to serial lead and three bodged wires to insert into drive.

If you send me a PM with your email address I will send you all the info you need. The drive can lock up if an error is detected and with the software and info it's quite easy to clear the stored error causing lockup.

    Panaterm

    Hi,

I'm new in the cnczone, but probably somebody could help.
I have old tipe of Panasonic drives some of the MSD series and one of the MDD.
The panaterm 3.7 seems to be too new for these drives,
does sy have the old DOS version of the SW or knows how to communicate
    with the old drives?
Cabeling is not a problem source.

    thanks
    Krisztian

I'm using Win 7 and virtual WinXP. I downloaded Panaterm v.3.7 also. And it was installed successfully.
After selecting the type of amplifier I get the message: "Can't execute Panaterm. File is damaged. Instal the Panaterm again".
And Internal use information: File:C:\Program files\PANATERM\ini\def\MINAS-S.DEF GroupMAX ITEM Block:0 Extension:

I tried on Win2000 and had the same problem.
Why I can not run the Panaterm?
