Hello. This is my first post although I have enjoyed the forums and gallery for awhile. I am in the process of accumulating parts to build a CNC machine. I recently purchased a couple of what look to be quick-change spindles that I would like to use for a light to medium-duty CNC machine. On the tool end each one has a taper and an internal female thread. The major diameter of the taper is .600" and the minor diameter is .500" with a 3/8"-24 internal female thread starting .60" in from the major diameter. There is also a spring loaded cover and a nylon sleeve with ball bearings that the cover rides on. The bearings are small and don't protrude into the tool holding area. These spindles are 3" outside diameter with a 7/8" shaft. I've included links to some pictures. Does anyone recognize the configuration? TIA
