Wow, it's been a long time since I was on this thread. John, I think maybe you have low expectations of what a DNC should accomplish. To date, now over 5 years, our system has NEVER failed to capture the machine information and store it on the system server. This DNC runs campus wide to 3 separate buildings, two of the outlying buildings are connected via fibre optic connections to the server. Using a printer switchbox in a shop of this size would be like hand carrying the mail from coast to coast. Apples and oranges.

None now. I retired a couple of years ago and my software partner has taken a job completely out of the field. Sorry Bob.

What happens when the switch box fails (lightning, fork lift, etc.) Your out of business, right? Our system has yet to fail...in 12 years.

could you help us we have amada aries 245 when we turn it on everything is ok
NC ready OK
top dead center OK
but it did move we can not retract to zero or do any manual move
there are no alarms !
but the stop bottom are lighted on (red ) at control panel right down to the display screen
as shown at attached picture
sorry i know its deffernte issue
