    Okuma cadet mate 4020 -OSP700M 1999

    anyone has same model?

my technician believes that this machine uses different code for Z-axis legth off set than G43 and G44.

if it is different, anyone know what that is?

    Hi Taehk,

All Okuma's use G56 to take up the length offset
    Fanuc's use G43

    usage example
each offset # has 2 parts
H= length, can be from gauge point, or from referencing tool
D=tool radius which depends on programming.

    Code:
    G0 A--B---C---
    G0 X--- Y---
    S1000 M3
    G56 H11 Z1.0 ( forces rapid to Z1.0 using value stored in tool offset H11 )
    M8
    ...
