I use a 17" MacBook pro for Rhino/tSplines/madCAM under VMs fusion - no problems in two and a half years.

I have a MacBook Pro that I've been using to run all my CAD/CAM software, including Rhino, for the last couple years.

I used OSX and ran Rhino in VM for awhile, but it was too slow, so I dual-booted to XP to use Rhino and my other 'work' software. Eventually I got rid of OSX and now I just run XP on it.

When I replace my MBP later this year, I'll be looking at Apple and Alienware systems and getting whatever gives me the best hardware for my buck. I originally got the MBP because the equivalent Alienware/Dell/Acer notebooks were $200-$500 more and I had an XP license already.
