What's in work at the open source

I just thought I would give an update on some of the boards I'm working on and their status.

Two A3977slp boards are ready to go to the pcb house. Both are based on the tssop package (TINY!). One is a complete 3 axis with pc interface plus a connector to add a 4ths axis compatable with the other open source single axis boards, the second a 1 axis compatable with the 10pin IDC connector on the other 1 axis modular boards. Both of the boards are too complex for Toner Transfer I believe.

One is a simple AVR (micro controller) based board. It's a single axis unipolar modular board compatable with the other 10pin IDC boards. It's built and in debug now. Goal SS PCB for the Toner Transfer DIY'er. Thks to vladdy for the DIY pcb.

The last and farthest from being done is a single axis compatable unipolar chopped modular board based on the Allegro SLA7051. Goal is a SS PCB for the Toner Transfer DIY'er. I see this one as a real strong possibility for the DIY crowd. The package is easily soldered, design is pretty simple and straight forward.

I have attached pictures of the layouts, and will post info on my website:
http://pminmo.com as each becomes more stable.

Please don't bug me for completion dates, or to buy one, this is just a hobby to me and to help others here. I may (the emphasis is on may "which means possibly") at some time in the future buy extra professional pcb's for resale to others just to recoupe some of my costs.

http://pminmo.com is elvolving with my goal of seperate webpages for each board.

I'm always looking for links to other boards to support peoples efforts here on the zone.

    Thanks,
    Phil
